Most of the pictures below are from 2 weekends ago, but I'm just now getting around to posting them. Sorry about that! It was a pretty darn fun weekend though, as you will see.
Lars found a petting zoo that's just a few miles from our house, and it's FREE! So, we took the kids. I'm sure we'll go there a lot more often now that we know it's around. Also, there are pony rides on the weekend (but not during the time we were there unfortunately).
Ethan and a goat. He wasn't scared at all, although he seems a bit concerned in this picture.
Ethan was more excited about the ducks than Tenley was, which we found pretty odd...Tenley is a huge fan of any "ducka"
Awww, sweet little girl petting the goats. There are some pictures that I didn't post that show Tenley playing with pieces of straw and sticks (which are way more entertaining than farm animals apparently) and she kept poking the goats in the face with the straw...we'll have to pay close attention to make sure the goats don't get their revenge some day!
There was a playground in the same area as the petting zoo...and it had a splashy area for kids...it was a rainy icky day (shocking for Washington, I know) but we played in it anyways...just tried to stay dry! I love this picture, great form from Ethan don't you think?
There is a series of about 5 pictures before this one that feature Uncle Casey playing with the digger and Ethan watching patiently from the sidelines...he's just a big kid Ethan, you have to remind him to share!
Last Thursday it was actually above 70 degrees and warm! ! ! Amazing being that it's officially summer now! So, the kids took advantage by running around the back yard in the sprinkler.
They really enjoyed it a lot. Tenley doesn't mind getting her face wet, but it occasionally bothers Ethan.

Now that it's summer time and hopefully will be warm on a more regular basis, it's time to go buy bathing suits. YAY!
