Apologizing tends to mean that you're not going to do something again...and clearly I keep waiting way too long between blog posts, and now my apologies for doing so are sounding lame! I'm sorry though. I really am.
Here are a bunch of May & June photos. The weather was nice for nearly a week in May so we go some nice outdoor time at the park.

In downtown Seattle with the kiddos on Mother's Day (how lovely that it took me until Father's Day to post it!)
In front of Pike's Place Market, same day. The kids had a lot of fun and were really well behaved. There are a lot of street musicians in downtown Seattle, and there was a violinist who we listened to for about 10 minutes. The kids gave him some money and were really interested in the music. The guy played spruced up kids songs for them, it was adorable. Afterwards he said that he "could tell that they're smart. Most little kids can't sit still and listen for more than a minute!" so I felt pretty special. Of course, it behooves him to butter up the mommy who just had her kids give him $6 over a 10 minute time-span!
They love to help in the kitchen whenever I'll let them...specifically, egg cracking is a favorite. We made brownies because that has the benefit of both egg cracking AND an awesome batter to lick afterwards!
Yes, they both have aprons. Can't be in the kitchen without your apron!
They really have a good time when they're allowed in the kitchen (which isn't often)
We took the kids to the Seattle Aquarium on a Friday morning...and it was PACKED, we were surprised that so many people would be there on a weekday morning, but I guess a lot of people will take a Friday off. Anyhow, we didn't get too many good pictures because of the insane crowding. Here's Tenley in front of one of the fish tanks. She was making many an old lady smile by loudly exclaiming "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh" every time we moved to a new aquarium.

After that fun, we went out to lunch. The weather was so gorgeous that we sat at an outdoor table. The kids were great, and were so polite to the waitress (they both thanked her any time she came to the table to bring something or clear something away) that she decided to give us free tickets to ride the carousel on the pier! People always marvel at how polite the kids are, which of course makes us beam with pride.

***quick story interruption***
Yesterday I took the kids to the Children's Museum with a friend, her son, and her sister-in-law. We had lunch afterwards as well. When we were leaving the restaurant to go home her sister-in-law asked the kids for hugs (which of course they gave her). After hugs the kids both said, "Goodbye, it was so nice to meet you!" Too cute!
Tenley likes to dress up...those are Angela's shoes and necklace, and her "dress" is on of my tank tops with the straps tied in the back to make it fit better. :o)
Ethan isn't copying Angela in this picture...he was watching a movie with his legs crossed and I whispered to Angela to cross her legs and copy him for the picture.

Ethan at the park on a less-than-nice day. It needs to warm up soon or we're gonna go nuts in the Pacific Northwest! Nearly summer and still we haven't actually had spring!
After Angela's graduation last weekend, we went over to her house for a small celebration. The kids and grandma drank "congratulations soda" (sparkling cider) out of champagne glasses for the occasion.
This is from "Sorticulture" a garden art show in Everett. You might recall that there was a picture of them on this same chair from last year at Sorticulture. We might just have to make that a tradition and then do a slide show of them on that same chair!

I made a "scary monster" out of a grocery bag. The kids took turns wearing it and cashing each other around.
I don't know about you, but I'm pretty scared!
