Sorry this post is a few days late, but better late than never...right? Thanksgiving was a lot of fun Jim, Jean, and Cheryl came into town for the holiday and we had a good crowd at the dinner table. I was excited to let the babies try all of the food, and Tenley (our fabulous eater) was excited too.
I guess she doesn't look too excited in this picture, but she really enjoyed all of the food, and ate quite a bit.
Ethan looks pretty excited in this picture, but he actually didn't enjoy as much as his sister did. He basically only liked the squash and stuffing. The turkey actually made him cry...he was not a fan.
Thanksgiving was a hat-filled day for us as well. (Not sure why)
Great Grandma Jean knitted hats for the babies, and they really do like them. Here's Ethan in his. He kept it on so nicely, but that's because he just woke up from a nap.
Here's Tenley in her hat with Great Grandma. They got mittens made for them out of the same yarn later in the weekend by Jean, but we don't have pictures of them modeling the mittens. Sorry!
Other updates:
Tenley is a walking fool, she walks across full rooms with no problems, but can't run yet and so she often falls when she tries to walk faster than her balancing skills will allow.
Ethan is trying out a couple of shakey steps, but much prefers to walk while holding onto something. He does a ton of climbing, which is scary. He can get on top of the coffee table and his walker, which is impressive since it has wheels! He's been trying to get onto the couch lately. Our remote control will never be safe again...
Well, just to let you know, the babies birthday party is going to be on the 6th instead of the 5th, so I probably won't post pictures of that until the 7th. They have their one-year checkup on the 10th, so I'll post updates when we're done with that too.
Happy Holidays!
