Here are a few pictures of the babies smiling at me when I got home from work last week.
Tenley is trying really REALLY hard to roll over but she hasn't quite figured it out yet. She gets in her own way by laying funny on her arm or craning her neck too hard.
Ethan has discovered that he can suck on his hands, and does so often. He can also pull his binky out of his mouth and throw it...which he usually regrets doing.
Grandma (Debbie) thinks that Ethan will be left handed because he prefers to suck on his left hand. We'll have to see how many of our random predictions come true. We all think that Tenley will walk first because she's been holding her head up and looking around since she was about 2 weeks old, and now stands up with little assistance (it's really cute). We also think that Ethan will talk first because he chatters all the time (also adorable). A few days ago Lars and I sat them across from each other to see if they'd look at one another since so far they'd completely ignored the other's existence. They looked at each other and smiled and reached out towards the other...and they chatted for a while. It was so damn cute I wish we'd been able to record it, but we were each holding a baby. Maybe we'll do it again and have someone over to hold the camera.
