Hard to believe that it's nearly mid-August! We've had a bout of cooler weather lately, but we're looking to be in almost the 90's this weekend so I'm sure we'll have some more fun out in the pool or sprinklers over the next few days as the temperature creeps up. The kids have plenty of fun indoors too though.
I love that she lays down to color...it looks so cute. She gets tired of it quickly, she rather bring the crayons over to the cat to see if he's interested in smelling them (which he isn't). Ethan will usually color for longer than Tenley.
Just so you know, Tenley isn't above putting her dinner in her hair...Ethan isn't the only one who does it.
On this particular evening though, Tenley was covered in her food and Ethan did a pretty good job of keeping clean!
Before bed time Tenley thought that perhaps Montana needed her blankie...and later she thought that he probably needed both of them...and then she took them away, and put them back on, and took them away, and so on until Montana got sick of it and scratched her (lightly, he's gotten really really good with the kids) and then she realized that be probably didn't want the blankets. She still covers anyone who is laying down (cat or human) with a blanket, it's pretty sweet of her actually.
